This card will do better than 1080p medium settings 50fps lol
The 6750xt is 40-50% faster than a 1080 Ti.
You're wrong about this one, friend. I upgraded from a GTX 1080 to a 6750xt, which has been noticeably faster.

FWIW, Tom's Hardware GPU Hierarchy 2024, which is based on a range of 8 games, lists the 1080 at 34.4% the speed of a 4090, with the 6750xt at 66.8% (102.9 fps vs 53.0 fps at 1080p Ultra) (77.2 fps vs 39.4 fps at 1440p Ultra).

Had no idea the AMD fanboys and shade tree pc bois were lurking here. Take a look at the recent GamersNexus 1080/1080ti retro. It shows that the 1080ti is on par with the 7600xt and tit for tat in most games compared to the 6750xt. Also, unless you actually have compared these yourself, gtfoh with the "is xx% better in every way"

GPU comparisons are significantly more complex than some percentage difference, especially comparing Nvidia to AMD.

Also, if you aren't comparing raster against raster, it's not a fair comparison anyways.

If you guys want this card, buy it by all means… but don't act like it is some world-beating 4K gaming card. It's not

https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-s...0-ti.c2877 it is somewhat close to the 7600 but definitely a tier or two away from the 6750 xt(about 30 percent slower). Yeah in certain games the difference will be more or less bc of different architecture but it can be used as a rough estimate

This chart has the 6700xt not 6750xt in it. So add 3-5 frames to make up the overclock and extra power draw the 6750xt pulls.

The nice thing about stuff like this is that the raw data is easy to find…now it's even easier!

(Also I originally downvoted your post, and after further reflection, I have rescinded that. The 1080ti is a great card, and IF you already have one, moving to the 6750xt wouldn't be my first choice (6800xt /7800xt would be mine for amd or 3080/4070 for Intel as a 1080p/1440p true successor)

Good buy, had a 6700 xt at one point, a good 1440p card or budget epsort 1080 card for high frame rates.

My guess is this will be as fast as the 8600 xt coming out towards the end of the year give or take 5%. If you need a card now, go for it, but if you can wait 4-5 months maybe see what the next gpu line offers. Both will be around the same price probably.

The amd fanboys are a hell of a lot more palatable compared to the foaming at the mouth Nvidia crowd who come from beneath their bridges for amd topics.

The 1080ti is a legendary card, but holy hell its old. It can about trade blows with a $250 7600 which is pretty amazing, but a 6750xt is vastly superior, as it should be.

Dude. Nobody even implied that this is some amazing 4K GPU. Don't know where you are getting that from.

And referring to that Hardware Unboxed video, I agree the GTX 1080ti is the goat. It was an amazing card at release it is still a solid 1080p gaming card today. But the 12 game comparison at 1080p has the GTX 1080ti at 64 FPS average, while the RX 6700 XT (slightly slower than the 6750) averaged 91 FPS. That makes the Radeon over 42% faster than the GTX 1080ti. That is still a great showing for the old GeForce card, but nowhere near the same performance ballpark. It's not even close.

That 42% difference is about the same as the difference between a RX 6700 XT and an RTX 3080. And nobody would put those two cards in the same performance category.

Thanks for owning the change. Everyone else on here seems to just be against the idea that older cards can still hold their own in a lot of ways. Reminds me a bit like this:

Also, the point of reference I made was rainbow 6 at 4K for the most apples-to-apples comparison. Still, margin for error needs to be accounted for.

Yup, some older cards are still excellent. I bought a 1070Ti in recent months for close to $100 at MC that performs very well despite its age.

The 6750 XT 12 GB is the best performing card for $250-$300 imo.
