Not sure if anyone has done something like this with Mint before - but I'm an existing user on a Pixel 7, my wife is on Visible but has been looking to switch to Mint. If I bought this phone, would I be able to port her in using it, then immediately switch her back to her iPhone, leaving the new P8 pro for me to use? Obviously it's locked to Mint - but I'm on Mint.

Basically, is it the phone locked to her number via eSim or just the Mint network?

The phone is locked to Mint network but not a particular mint number. You should be able to use the phone without even activating the plan. If you want, you could port your number to another carrier like Tello for $5 and then port it right back to Mint and get the full 12 months service.

If I'm reading the page below correctly, these can be unlocked after 12 months of service? Haha, I don't think I've rocked a locked phone since my Galaxy S3 way back when on VZW before getting my Nexus 6P.

You have to be off Mint for a certain amount of time for that to work.
