Hopefully the minor overhaul in season four on May 14th helps. Plus there's the expansion on the horizon, and so far the Diablo expansion track record is pretty stellar.

I have to say, I like it overall, but it's just something where I feel 3 did it better. I don't think it's nostalgia, but maybe it is. Well worth giving it a try, especially at 20 like the other comment. In my opinion there's tons of content, decent build system, looks good.
I think the whole pass system and micro transactions are another huge FU to previous fans. So it got a lot of rage.
