Can someone clarify for me why people hate on Diablo IV so much? Will I not enjoy it if I was into Diablo III? We haven't finished III yet...but I was hoping to move onto IV when we do.

Hopefully the minor overhaul in season four on May 14th helps. Plus there's the expansion on the horizon, and so far the Diablo expansion track record is pretty stellar.

I have to say, I like it overall, but it's just something where I feel 3 did it better. I don't think it's nostalgia, but maybe it is. Well worth giving it a try, especially at 20 like the other comment. In my opinion there's tons of content, decent build system, looks good.
I think the whole pass system and micro transactions are another huge FU to previous fans. So it got a lot of rage.
