Been seeing a lot of sales on these lately, I picked up some pairs last round. The quality and appearance were ok and acceptable. There's not a lot of stretch and the fabric felt and looked "just okay". But I didn't love it, and returned them. I mention this just cause I realized I had this trigger to buy cheap clothes from my past, but that I'd often not like them enough to choose them over my existing higher quality ones. If you're just starting out and need some cheap pairs, or want some novelty red lobster shorts, ignore what I'm saying and get some. Just throwing this out there for anyone that might be tempted to buy a mediocre pair of shorts they don't really need.
Love the retro styles making a comeback. It's hilarious seeing teenage boys wearing thigh high athletic shorts in public. 15 years ago you'd never see a teenage boys knees even when wearing shorts. 15 years prior to that... short shorts were all the rage. I guess these work in 30 year cycles.

It really is 30 year cycles. The shorts don't fit the time period but the baggy 90's style pants and shirts are all the rage right now.
