For those on the fence on which seasons to buy, here's my spoiler-free experience on "The Walking Dead" TV series:
Seasons 1 and 2 are the best in the series. Great pacing + excellent script. They were frightening and raw.
Season 3 is very good, not great.
Season 4 is when things start to fade, and you start hating some of the characters and where they're going.
Season 5-6 are when you start questioning yourself, if you should continue watching.
Season 7, episode 1 - most violent and brutal episode. Brace yourself! The season is a love/hate.
Season 8-10 "Why am I still watching this horrible series?"
Season 11 - "I might as well finish this awful series, because I'm a glutton for punishment."
I swear Microsoft just does shit like this to troll us. Ridiculous deal but of course most of us don't have XBoxes or want to watch our movies on laptops
Ug, this show made it 11 seasons? I didn't make it past season 7
Yeah, in season 9 they gave showrunner status to a Didn't Earn It who promptly turned it into girl power. Dr Who, Star Wars, Pirates of The Caribbean, Marvel etc. I loved the first 6 seasons but 8 should've ended it.

Just to double check, are you saying they turned it into a billion dollar, must -see, worldwide franchise? Because that's the opposite of what happened.

I barely made it past season 3 or 4 and saw a few episodes in the later seasons and it seemed like an absolute dragged-on Soap Opera with every movement or activity being a horrendously drawn-out affair.
I think there were like 3 or 4 spinoffs too (Fear the Walking Dead, Talking about Walking Dead, Walking Dead on the Toilet or something)
I honestly don't know how they could continue at these pitch meetings with a straight face

Everyone keeps talking about connecting via HDMI, but these days you can easily cast your entire desktop via Miracast or Chromecast.
Chrome browser settings allow this, or you can even use Edge browser similarly. Or check the Windows settings.
How good does it look when connecting wirelessly?
I just connect a Windows Mini-PC to the TV. This way I can use Microsoft Movies & TV app and with the right browser and settings no ads (including Roku, Tubi, Xumo, Freevee, Hulu, Peacock, Max, YouTube, etc.)
Edit: FYI- The Walking Dead seems to be available in Pluto[pluto.tv]

Nah, pretty clear to most, it's Hollywood's version of the wnba.

I stream a Windows laptop outfitted with Stremio to a Tivo Stream 4k stick connected to a projector and it looks great on a 120" screen.
It looks the exact same as it would via HDMI connection.

So definitely not going to work for this TV show
MS Store purchases can only be watched on Windows devices & XBox
Still a killer price, but very limited on where/how you can enjoy your purchase.
