Many complaints about the adhesive not being strong enough in the reviews. Still seems like a solid deal otherwise.

Probably b/c the asian factory where this is actually made uses meters (16.4 feet = 5 meters).

I didn't read anything in the reviews about chaining them together. Confused

Tbh, all American companies should stop using a unit that's based roughly on a British king's foot size. Foot fetish is a hard habit to get rid of.

Glad you asked! According to www.britannica.com, it's because the unit derives from the Old English ince, or ynce, which in turn came from the Latin unit uncia, which was "one-twelfth" of a Roman foot.
To help maintain consistency of the unit, King David I of Scotland declared the measure as the breadth of a man's thumb at the base of the nail, calculated by adding the thumb breadth of three men—one small, one medium, and one large—and then dividing the figure by three. During the reign of King Edward II, in the early 14th century, the inch was defined as "three grains of barley, dry and round, placed end to end lengthwise."
Since 1959 the inch has been defined officially as 2.54 cm, which begs the question that anyone who's done fraction math with inches would agree, WHY ARE WE STILL USING THE IMPERIAL SYSTEM?!

Nope. You'll need power injection to maintain voltage.

Can confirm adhesive isn't as strong as it needs to be. Also, LEDs are poor quality. The blue is going out on three LEDs every foot or so, so the color looks off
