I just recently (last week) scored this from Kohls. I was able to combine a few different coupons and get the total price at $249. I also got $65 Kohls cash to use on a few other things we were planning on buying anyway.

Was able to score an awesome deal back in February for under $200. This robot has been an awesome addition to the family. Only minor issue is you have to make sure there are no toys or any wire on the floor before it start cleaning.

I accidentally discovered that deal at the same price too! Lidar and mapping is a game changer. I've only changed my trash bag out once

My hybrid allows you to schedule mopping separately, cleans the pads, lifts the pads for carpet and tanks lasts a week on medium water level... but cost a lot more too. Looking for a less fancy unit for upstairs but need cord avoidance for it too.
That is cool, and I recall seeing one with the features you mentioned but it was nearly double the cost of a dedicated auto emptying vacuum but plus dedicated mopping bot. Not saying there isn't pros to having an all in one unit, to each their own. My use case just found this setup more convenient as I like to have them run when I'm out for errands, so I can run both at the same time. If one breaks, the other still functions, etc. But I understand this also means 2 maps to maintain, more space taken up, 2 machines to maintain vs one, etc.

My new unit will be my fourth robot vacuum. I've started with a low tier roommate with just basic vacuuming, no silk self emptying or object avoidance. The good news is these things change like tech. What is in the 1200-2k machines shows up in less expensive machines a couple/ few years later. It's great for those who are patient and those at the forefront.

Agree 100%. This is probably my fifth of sixth robot vacuum. The lidarr stuff now is amazing. My "more features means more stuff to break" mantra is probably just my old school mentality. Like when I bought a new lawn mower I didn't get the self drive type, since that broke on my last one, but in a way that completely locked up the wheels. lol But as you said these things will get better and better with time. For me, just couldn't justify the higher cost of the more advanced unit you described yet, especially considering I could get 2 dedicated units for less. Luckily, my home layout is such that the mopping unit does not need to traverse carpet to get to all the solid surfaces..
