Ff7 has issues with freezing on the switch which can cause you to lose progress

After having done a few playthroughs of both VII and VIII on the psx emulator with save states, I can't imagine being content not being able to save snapshots and reload in order to 'game' the golden chocobo breeding or Triple Triad card game. Man, being able to do that made the games so much fun.

The joke is that FF7 was the first in the series that was Playstation exclusive, and at the time it was a big deal that they were abandoning cartridge-based systems in favor of the new CD-based thing.
