I wish, it got shot down recently. CA needs to do this, it won't actually stop them from selling skittles it will just finally force them to use the better ingredients they use in skittles they sell in UK for example. They're farking Americans because we have lower standards, how about we get smart and enjoy candy without toxic shit in them like they do on the other side of the Atlantic?

You can at least buy the UK skittles on amazon but it's obviously way overpriced due to importing them. They also taste better.

I love me some skittles, but I've stopped buying them after realizing so many dyes are in the product, that may not be good for you.

I still have a craving for skittles, but the closest I've managed to find are YumEarth Organic Giggles Chewy Candy Bites $4 / 5oz

They use natural food colors like (Turmeric, radish, sweet potato, carrot, blackcurrant, spirulina) instead of the (Red 40 Lake, Blue 2 Lake, Yellow 5 Lake, Blue 1 Lake, Titanium Dioxide, Yellow 6, Red 40, Yellow 5, Blue 1) in the skittles.

Made of: Sugar, Corn Syrup, Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Oil, Less than 2% of: Citric Acid, Tapioca Dextrin, Modified Corn Starch, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Sodium Citrate, Color (Red 40 Lake, Blue 2 Lake, Yellow 5 Lake, Blue 1 Lake, Titanium Dioxide, Yellow 6, Red 40, Yellow 5, Blue 1), Carnauba Wax.

Red 40 is banned in a lot of other countries for years now because of its known cancer risks, but would that really ever be banned here? Same with the palm oil and probably the rest. Businesses thrive on using this cheap cancerous stuff and then the pharmaceutical industry gets to thrive on trying to 'fix' us when the garbage finally catches up to our bodies and we get sick from it. I feel like this setup is almost intentional and they'd never change that purposefully.

I usually feel that way about the 'sharing' size bags of stuff but there are a LOT of skittles in this bag. I couldn't imagine sitting down and plowing through one of these like I could a bag of peanut m&m's or something like that.

Skittles are poisonous but the VOC's in the air that we breathe daily and the PFAS we drink in water are fine, right?
