I brought a pair last year. [$25 on clearance from DSW... but unless you have a time machine...]
Anyways I'm happy with the purchase and the boot is comfy. Got some miles on it on hikes and yardwork. It took a couple of tries to get the right size -- I end up sizing up by 0.5. (normally size up +1 for boot). For comparison, I had a Columbia waterproof boot from REI, and this was MUCH better in terms of comfort, cost and waterproof-ness.
For the guy mowing 15 lawns / wk, can't comment, since I don't wear it that often.
I too got these I believe for 35 in a slick deal over a year ago . I use them for maintenance work and other tough terans . They are great shoes so far . No tears and good comfort.
I've had mine for about a year (think I got them for around $30). They're holding up fine. Traction is decent. They get used for weekend yard work, nothing too strenuous. I don't think they'd be comfortable on all day hikes or anything of that sort. I will say the fit is a little weird too me, I'm used to boots that hug my foot/ankle more, these feel loose. All-in-all, they're fine as an occasional boot.

I got the same deal. I wear them whenever it rains or is wet. They have been great. No issues. Even used them in the snow. One small thing is they are a little wider than regular width, so they initially feel loose, but quickly got used to them.
