These seem to be geared towards actual trail runners rather than people who stand/walk a majority of the day and need comfort/stability, which is a niche that HOKAs fill nicely. I own HOKAs and the Fuji Lite 3 and the FL3 are trail running shoes that have extra grip for slippery conditions. These shoes are great if you are buying them to serve their intended purpose

I tried to find any review(s) on these shoes but didn't find anything. Two commenters on reddit's runningshoegeeks spoke negatively about this shoe. Not having any experience on running shoes at all, I'm not going to purchase these

Cool designs. They don't have Wide, anybody know if these run particularly narrow or regular?
In any case I'd be wearing them more for walking around shoes rather than running.

Haven't heard of these but curious how they compare to popular Hoka Clifton and Bondi. At least within the healthcare setting, those seem to be the most popular. Hoping someone with experience with both shoes can chime in

I had a pair of asics and they do tend to run a bit narrow. They were comfortable but the sides of my feet usually hurt. They were the Gel Nimbus that I had.

this essentially is their trail version of the Magic Speed. I assume it runs narrow in the heel/midfoot and will open up slightly in the forefoot.

I would only recommend these if you're serious about trail running -- with a full plate and aggressive rocker, this wouldn't be a good choice for a hiking or city walking shoe. a full carbon plate would make this harder to use on more technical terrain, but hey, we were walking/running with rock plates for years without a problem. Is a pebax plate all that different?

That being said, the Fuji series is well-liked but not that popular.

So these have a Pebax plate in them, which is basically plastic/nylon; It's the same type of plate you'd find in the Saucony Endorphin Speeds, for example. So these are built for speed, but with lugs and an aggressive ride built for trails. While these look badass, if you ain't zooming through trails, this isn't the style for you. Like others said, Asics do tend to run narrow. They are a solid brand, but not built for my wide hooves.

I usually find that Asics models run a half size short. The only exception was the Glideride. I never had much luck with this brand when it comes to fitment and comfort.

I had 2 pairs of hoka Clifton 7's. I got them at the recommendation of 2 college cross country runners. I run ultra long distances and lift so I go through shoes fast.

Hokas suck. They fall apart very easily. The sole sticks in to my arches and they are kind of made for people with high arches. There is a lot of cushion to the point that the heel is very high and makes me feel off balance sometimes. They are not good walking shoes compared to other stuff on the market.

I bought a pair of Nike pegasus 40. They are supposed to be very neutral running shoes, but the new version turns out to be more like trainers. I would highly recommend a pair of nike pegasus 39 if you dont know what shoes to get.

I would highly recommend a pair of nike pegasus 39 if you dont know what shoes to get. I ran half marathons 3 days a week in them with barely any knee pain.

my struggle is 95%don't carry wide. I always need to order traditional 4e like other shoes if that means anything

Shame. Love the design of these shoes. Sexy as hell, but I certainly can't do narrow shoes. Had a similar issue with a pair of adidas. Comfortable, loved the look and color but they were rather narrow. By the end of the day my feet were killing me.. tried to convince myself I just needed to break them in… two more outings with them and I ended up taking them back

The brand Asics is a good shoe if you have to be on your feet all day like nurses or doctors.

I have the Asics Gel Nimbus 25 and they're fantastic for the healthcare setting
