These are really nice high quality rulers I just ordered six of them a few for home a couple for straight edges in the shop and a few for the office

dang it I just realized I should have ordered one or two in case my significant other misbehaves. these stainless steel rulers hurt pretty good

You know what's funny that you say they are high precision. I was just thinking from a nerd perspective how the definition of precision is repeatability. It's pretty well guaranteed that the marks on the ruler are always going to be in the same spot lol. so yes it will be extremely precise.

These are really good rulers from a very reputable manufacturer. I used to use these when I worked for a printing company. It's not apparent where they are made, they used to be produced in USA.
For a buck and a half it's worth picking up a couple.

These are ok depending on your use case. Very challenging to use to measure distance from a wall or other immovable object since there is a gap from the end of the ruler to where the first inch mark begins.

I have one of these at my desk. Can confirm, solid product. Only downside is the corner can catch you on the hand or arm once in a while if you're too hasty/excited to get started making that straight line.
