The oscillating tool uses the Starlock system and is not compatible with standard blades. My experience with a limited number of Starlock blades has been poor. The ones I had wore out far too fast and they are all very expensive.

I disagree; and I'm a Dewalt guy! This definitely has its uses, and can't be compared to DeWalts 20v tools.

This is a 12v and I actually prefer this Bosch to the Dewalt 12v version of this same chameleon tool. Each attachment actually click locks into the base body with this Bosch, where as the Dewalt & Milwaukee versions don't. I have had the Dewalt and Milwaukee attachments fallen out and off the tools themselves when bumping them up on top of a ladder!

Side note: as others have mentioned, the proprietary blades for the oscillating tool are a no bueno. When I purchased this exact set I simply sold off the new unused oscillating tool with the blade for $50, effectively making my net cost ~$100.

I agree. anything with the Starlock system is a virtual thumbs down.

I did not click on thumbs down, that's why I said virtual

It's a good deal without the oscillation tool. Starlock is a tough sell though. It's a nice attachment system but the blades are a lot pricier.

These blades work pretty well for "cheap" Starlock blades.

I bought this about a year ago. It's one of the most uncomfortable feeling drills out there. The Dewalt cordless feel so much better.

That's fine. I agree it has many uses. It just didn't feel right in my hands. The comfort not the utility

been waiting for deal on this tool. now that its here not really motivated to pull trigger lol. have no use for the multi-tool as well. the flexiclick alone is also same price $149. debating try sell the muti-tool for ~$50 most likely less or give away. considering time takes to sell and price hagglers. decisions, decisions, decisions....

id be all in if the flexiclick alone was ~$99.

Still waiting for that $35 Lowe's clearance on the flexiclick deal. I would purchase entire store stock for that price. Make a nice Christmas gift for everyone.
