Example, if you have an 8 year old ice Honda Accord, and replace it with a brand new ice Honda Accord, then your insurance will probably also go up $600. So it is not just that it is a new EV, a new "anything" (ICE, EV, Hybrid) will cost more to insure.
Polestar 2 has a max DC charge rate of 150 kWh, whereas a Model 3 has a max DC charge rate of 250 kWh. So Tesla will recharge faster.
Also, the Supercharger kWh prices are 35% higher for non-Tesla EVs. So Tesla will recharge cheaper.
So someone that does lots of road trips would be better off with a Tesla. Faster and Cheaper DC charging.
I won't buy a new vehicle without it.
