There is a buyout option after the 27 months are done. But given used EV prices these days, it'll most likely be cheaper to buy a used car of the same model year, vs buying out your leased car.
Although my insurer (State Farm) said they can drive any car, they just need one of them marked as the primary on the insurance.

Not the most competitive lease deal we've seen but for this quality of car it's probably the best.
I've been following this space for years and always thought Musk was full of @#$^# with his undelivered promises of self driving cars that were about to go mainstream. I'd tried earlier versions of FSD and, while impressive, they gave me no confidence that Tesla FSD would ever be capable of unassisted autonomous driving. Then I tried FSD 12.3.4 and I'm sold - this is the future and the near future at that. Just for this tech, I wouldn't even consider another car.
It was a bit nerve racking to start because it was difficult for me to trust it. But after a month, I'm very impressed.
