I would hold out for mirrorless at this point. While this is still a good camera if in your budget, the other stuff in the bundle really isn't needed and you can buy used in excellent condition for about $600 less (body only).
This is a wonderful camera, but you can't deny its pretty old tech already, although the pictures will still rival anything new in mirrorless I would think. I have a D750 and would like to have the 850 for better cropping and more... but hard to drop $2k on anything this old at this point.
