You are a life saver! Been watching the NIKKOR Z 85mm for months now to get for my wife for mother's day and it hasn't been available for less than $800 new from any authorized Nikon sellers. Saved me $100 so thanks a bunch and repped!

The Z85 is a fantastic lens. It doesn't have the bragging rights of f/1.2, but it's perfect wide open and a much more usable lens overall than those lenses. Your wife will be thrilled!
if money isn't a consideration, i'd get the 35mm just to be on the wider side. you probably have 20+ megapixels so you can always crop it in post.
fwiw, as much as i love my prime lenses, i love my sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 more than my 35mm. but when it comes to lenses, it really depends on how you use it, your use case and how tolerant you are to swapping lenses. i however do love my 105mm the most though but it does macro, which is what i enjoy shooting

I know everyone is wanting to go mirrorless camera but I highly recommend the D850. I have it and the pics are breathtaking! I did had the Nikon 17-55mm, F2.8 lens for my D500 but when I got the D850, I bought the 17-35mm, F2.8 for landscape, then bought the 24-70mm F2.8 G lens for regular use. Those lenses is amazing.
Are the 35/50/85s good deals? I know they are good lenses, just feel like there's gonna be better deals later on....
edit: adding punctuations.
Yes, these are nice deals! If you are in the market for one, get it and stop waiting for "THE" deal. You could be waiting for ever!! Buy it and enjoy it NOW!! If price is really bothering you, go to the used market. I have bought some of my lens used and gotten great prices and great lens too! You have to keep looking and ONLY buy from reputable places, KEH, B&H, Adorama, Robert's Camera, etc.

Breathtaking? It's the same Nikon jpeg or raw files as any of their DX or FX format. I'm a fan of shooting jpeg + raw and sometimes the jpeg's are all I need. It almost always gets down to post processing that separates very good to wow.
