Do I trust a $5.50 pressure vessel?

I don't like how those 1 star reviews look.

That's too much work for one cup!

They also have 3, 6, 9 and 12 cups depending on your level of addiction

The title says "1 Espresso Cup" which if I'm reading correctly is about 60ml or 2oz.

When camping, I use the 6-cup version to make a strong coffee for myself, and the 9-cup version for my wife and me. My wife likes it with loads (50%) of milk.

They work really well. Watch a youtube on how to optimize the use of these. For ex, I first boil some water and then add that to the base to reduce the time the coffee powder is heated/burned. Don't let them bubble, reduce/turn off the heat as soon as the coffee starts flowing, etc.

Only small issue is that the filter baskets are kinda thin, and cave in a bit, but that doesn't really matter.

Not sure why one would use the 1-cup version though... seems like a lot of work for a single shot.

1 is really small, but ive had the 3 cup for a few months an really like it. Much better than kcups, but not real espresso machine level.

Better or worse than a French or aero press?

Stainless steel! These inexpensive moka pots are usually aluminum, so I haven't used one in a long time because of corrosion and leaching concerns.
