Luminox are great watches! I got one as a gift and love it. Mine is the Navy Seal version (though different from this model) which actual SEALs use as it's a diving watch and the great feature is the permanent hand and dial illumination that does not use power and does not require being "charged" under bright light like traditional glow in the dark illumination and is supposed to last up to 25 years! Basically made for seeing the watch when underwater deep enough that there's no light.
