no you don't need to be a samsung employee. you just need to be an employee of a company that partners with samsung to offer employee discounts (again, 'employee' doesn't mean samsung employee)

Bought it during one of the recent similar deals. Firmly recommend.

I was planning on returning it because of the curve but was curious enough to try it, glad I did because you almost immediately get used to it and it's great for not only gaming but also workstation purposes as well. Gaming feels wonderful and immersive and the display quality is great.

32" is the perfect size for 4k resolution.

Nvidia works with freesync. Has for years.

Wish they had a flat screen version, but with a VA panel they always have a curve to help with the poor viewing angles.
Yeah it's definitely necessary on this panel, that is a downside of it. $450 was low enough for me to go from a 2017 acer Predator 27" 1440p 144hz ips, and it's a great upgrade monitor for this price. I'm really impressed by how good the 1196 zone FALD backlight is for HDR gaming, I like the sharper text from the higher dpi and the larger overall size makes games really immersive. No flicker that I've seen, no dead pixels, the stand is kinda cheap for low movement wobble but it's not a big problem. No regrets.
