Bought one a few weeks ago, made my dragon voice recognition substantially better than the company issued microphone. Also notice the background noise is suppressed. Very pleased.
[QUOTE=Bozanimal;170675790]Wait- Logitech bought Blue? I don't know how to feel about this, but kinda sad they tightening their grip on quality PC accessories.
I have this. good microphone for my teams/zoom and other calls. People said I sounded great. I switched to amazonbasics mic which is even better sounding.
You must not be a user if you're just realizing this as it's been year's
I'm a regular user and had no clue. The quality of Blue's products was (hopefully still is) good enough that I haven't needed to buy any new products from them. Long time Snowball, Encore 300 and Bluebird SL user.
I've got the chrome version of this mic and it is EXCELLENT for narration and conference calls. I've even used it to record voice and acoustic guitar concurrently with great results.

Great mic, BTW. Prefer the Yeti, which has a mic output that let's you monitor your sound, but this is a great mic for less than half its price.
For anyone wanting the Blue Yeti, the "Gaming Microphone" version with the Blue pop filter is at its lowest price ever $91.49 - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09TW24LV1?th=1

May you please link the Amazon basics mic you feel is better?
Am I correct that this microphone is directional and unsuited for recording a 5-10 person focus group spread around a table or small room. If that is the case, does anyone have suggestions for an inexpensive omnidirectional microphone that I can connect directly to a 14 inch MacBook Pro (so ideally with a USB-C connection)?
