If above answer was yes it's dumb, which am5 path?? Was thinking 7700x combo but I think since 7500f is like $130 I could go that route?

I say this since, you can have a fine overclock in applications that stress the card, but then for some reason certain games just don't like the overclock. I've just learned to have mine at the lowest voltage it can handle, a slight overclock and then if theres a random game, like 1/10 needs more juice, I just add 50 volts, solved. Takes 2 seconds in the amd tool. Also every driver update resets your OC anyways and new values need to be tested and adjusted, so just don't stress test it, lol, waste of hours.

Thing holding me back from buying something right now is Computex is in a month and it is likely AMD announces their new CPU's and Motherboards and possibly also their GPU's if they get back on schedule. Last time they announced GPU's at Computex was the 5700 and 5700 XT I believe. The 6000 series though I believe had an October announcement.
