Don't buy! I bought this last year on December 18, 2023, and the battery is now dead despite using the cordless feature maybe once a week for less than 10 minutes. I'm getting a replacement battery in 7-10 business days.
I've got the LG and Dyson V10. The LG runs much longer. I haven't noticed any difference in suction at all. I'm going on 2 years and I've had no problems and batteries are going strong. I wonder how many of these comments have even seen one much less used one.

Highly recommend getting the protection plan on these!
I got the refurbished version due to the extra battery (not on sale currently; should be sold by Walmart.com).
Out of the box the carpet roller motor was not working. After some research, those are a big complaint with these units that the carpet roller breaks after a couple months. Replacement is like $120.
It was still under LG warranty but they were being super difficult due to the 'refurbished' part, however it was sold & certified by them (therefore under warranty).
The Walmart Protection Plan came through and sent me a new roller…

I have this and I don't really like it. The "neck" between the cannister and the wand hose constantly clogs. Then you have to take it apart and wrestle with debris to get it to run again.
I've never had a stick vacuum before so I have no idea if this common, or unique to this model.
Had one of these (refurbished) for over 3 years. My sister's both have gone through 2 Dyson's in that time. I suppose the Dyson's may suck a little harder but overall I am very happy with the LG performance and battery life (we have 2 batts and swap them every few weeks).
Our use case is 3000 square feed of hard floors and a few areas rugs with a shedding cat. My only complaint is that you have to empty the canister multiple times per house cleaning or it clogs up pretty fast. I think all battery canister vacs suffer.that however.

It's also half the price of a similar Dyson at this price. Is a little bit better quality worth twice the price? That being said, we have a Dyson and I do love it. I think either is a great buy, but only one is a slick deal.
Had a dyson, a higher end LG that was on sale at Costco for between $450-550, and a samsung also from Costco.
Dyson's battery just didn't last long enough, so I replaced it with the LG. The LG's battery was better and suction was comparable to Dyson, but the unit died within 6 months, and its replacement also died within 6-9 months.
Replaced the LG with a samsung and it's been good for the past almost(?) 2 years.

More powerful than my Dyson v11. Glad I made the change earlier this year
