Not receiving deal alerts for some keywords

I made some deal alerts for shoes but haven't been able to receive one shoe deal alert.
Keyword: "men's shoes" -running
I want anything with "men's shoes" in the body except for running shoes. I have it set to +2 rating.
Why didn't I get an alert for this deal? https://slickdeals.net/f/17457180-jordan-max-aura-5-men-s-shoes-from-54-free-shipping?src=fr ontpage_recombe e&prop=rcmid-b5d7fa804def5fc a2a976f16d800bc 00
It has men's shoes in the body, no "running" anywhere, and it was a frontpage deal.
Keyword: Men's trail shoes
I want anything with Men's trail shoes in the body, +2 rating. Why didn't I get an alert for this deal?
https://slickdeals.net/f/17468340-adidas-men-s-terrex-soulstride-running-shoes-core-black-39-20-free-shipping?src=Si teSearchV2Algo
It has all the keywords in the body. Again frontpage deal.
Keyword: men's hiking shoes
+2 rating but no deal alerts even though these should have matched https://slickdeals.net/f/17458230-eddie-bauer-men-s-or-women-s-terrange-hiking-shoes-various-60-free-shipping-on-75?src=SiteSear chV2Algo

Am I doing something wrong or is it SD? Like I said I am able to get other deal alerts so it is partially working.

My assumption would be those deals hit the "2+" threshold sometime before you added the deal alert, sometime between april 26th and may 1st.
We don't look backwards when dealing with alerts. Next time a deal matches your alert, you should get the email.
I hope that helps.

edit: You're right about the trail and hiking shoes keyword being created in May but the Men's shoes -running, merrell men's, and men's sneakers -running, I created months ago and I don't remember getting any alerts for them

Also I've had keyword: "metro by t-mobile" since last year but didn't receive any alerts like https://slickdeals.net/f/17453058-existing-metro-by-t-mobile-customers-samsung-galaxy-tab-a9-5g-w-30-days-service-20-w-new-tablet-line-activation?src=

For the t-mobile, it looks like it should have matched. I will dig into those a little.

See the screenshots I attached to this post.

The keyword [men's shoe -running] should have triggered it right? It has [men's] and [shoe] in the body and doesn't have [running] anywhere in it. But I didn't receive an email alert, unless the word [run] counts as an exclusion.
I also recently created another keyword [-running @title men's shoe] that should have triggered it as well?
I don't remember receiving any email alerts for metro by t-mobile either. Is it possible to resend the Galaxy Tab A9 alert as a test?

You should try changing the keyword to "(men's AND shoes) -running" which should match if both men's and shoes exist in the text somewhere

With these rules in mind, should https://slickdeals.net/f/17476245-reebok-men-s-rewind-run-shoe-26-98-reebok-women-s-danielle-guzio-club-c-cleated-mid-shoe-41-98-more-free-shipping have triggered them?
edit: you were right about the t-mobile alert. I must have deleted it without realizing. But I looked in my trash folder going back 3 weeks and have not found any deal alerts for shoes at all

"somewhere" being either somewhere in our query code, or somewhere in the search engine itself.
e.g. possibly something like, because there is an apostrophe, we're trying to escape the keyword, causing it to never match (men's vs men\'s).
or, because there is an exclusion, it's treating men's shoe as "men's shoe"
I will have to see how I can try and replicate this issue

I created another alert last night for the simple keyword [shoes] just to see if I can actually get any shoe alerts. I could also create one for [shoes -running] to see if the dash is causing an issue.
edit: I just received a deal alert for [shoes] so I can confirm it works. I'll remove keyword [shoes] and try [shoes -running]
edit 2: I received a deal alert for [shoes -running]. So the exclusion seems to work. It's looking more likely that [men's] is the culprit?

I haven't gotten any alerts for [-running @title men shoe] which should have triggered if [men shoe -running] triggered. I don't know if it's because your system won't send duplicate alerts or if the @title modifier isn't actually functioning.
