Nice price drop. I was wondering if it would hold cylinder heads for engine work, so I sifted through the reviews.

Pros: The reviews are 79% 5-star (FWIW)

Cons: The pics for the less favorable reviews don't speak real highly about the quality of this item.

I bought the 60" version last year when it hit $80 or so. It's perfectly fine at that price, and I'd say at this price as well. The eight bolts through the legs will be bearing whatever weight you put on top, and the cheap casters are a limiting factor as well. I personally wouldn't count on this to support hundreds of pounds reliably.

Yeah it looks pretty cheap just based on the pictures. If you want something reasonable that can hold a decent amount of weight, the adjustable wood workbenches from Home Depot are pretty good. I use one as a desk but I could stand on it without issue.

Do you know of any that are 48" tall? I've been wanting a couple at that exact height as a DIY way of removing and storing my ~300lb truck bed topper by myself. Unfortunately the ones in this deal only go up to 44" high.

You could add a 4x4 on top, which would also take the brunt of the damage caused by sliding 300 lbs onto it. Just an idea.

The idea was to have one of these workbenches on each side of the truck bed and a couple of 2x4s going across. Lift the front of the topper and slide one 2x4 under, repeat in the back. Drive the truck away. I've seen videos of guys doing the same with tall sawhorses.

Anyway, the deal is over, so I'll keep your idea in mind for if I find something else close. I just liked the idea of being able to use the workbenches for other projects since the main folding table we use now is in rough shape.
