I never played the sequel, but the first game is great.
I agree that there's a lot of empty space, but the boss fights are epic.

So, a game with attractive female characters--even "over-sexualized" ones--will make a lot of people very happy (and possibly rich, if the cosplayers take livestream donations).
The next craze for cosplayers will of course be Eve from Stellar Blade. I hope the game industry returns to attractive character designs (both male and female). Each beloved character can be the center of a small economy; the more attractive they are, the bigger the economy and the longer it lasts. There are cosplayers still dressing up as Tifa, Rikku, Bayonetta and the Senran Kagura girls from decades ago.

Furthermore, different people have different standards on what is good or bad. We do not need to think the same about everything. We could agree to disagree. This promotes real creativity & diversity.
