Haha. I actually enjoyed the gorgeous women in Nier Automata. The boss fights were cool. IMO, the worst problem with the game was the open world design that was filled empty space or repetitive regular enemies. This design flaw is found in any open world game to various degrees.
Very tired of deliberatly ugly western characters to further three agenda of celebrating mediocrity.

2 of the greatest games of all time. I almost skipped them because of the over sexualization of female characters. It seemed cringe, but you get past that and it's one of the best stories of all time with amazingly fun gameplay.

I never played the sequel, but the first game is great.

I agree that there's a lot of empty space, but the boss fights are epic.

It was only $12.80 for me, not sure why maybe a returning customer discount. Green man gaming also is tax free.

Same for me. Not going to complain. Also the version on green man gaming included the 3C3C1D119440927 DLC. On steam it costs $3.99 extra

I can't recommend these games enough. It doesn't seem like people like Replicant as much, but I really did. I went off recommendations and played Automata first and then played Replicant but I really wish I had played Replicant first. So that is my suggestion of the day, play them both, and in release order, but if you can only get one I guess I'd pick Automata.

The game of yohra version includes the 3C3C1D119440927 dlc. It is still available for purchase if you had bought the previous version that did not include it

Not only did you enjoy the gorgeous women in Nier Automata, so do all the cosplayers who dress up as those characters year after year.

So, a game with attractive female characters--even "over-sexualized" ones--will make a lot of people very happy (and possibly rich, if the cosplayers take livestream donations).

The next craze for cosplayers will of course be Eve from Stellar Blade. I hope the game industry returns to attractive character designs (both male and female). Each beloved character can be the center of a small economy; the more attractive they are, the bigger the economy and the longer it lasts. There are cosplayers still dressing up as Tifa, Rikku, Bayonetta and the Senran Kagura girls from decades ago.

Yeah, video games are great for the cosplay & livestream businesses.

Furthermore, different people have different standards on what is good or bad. We do not need to think the same about everything. We could agree to disagree. This promotes real creativity & diversity.
