It's ridiculous that Amazon ships hard drives in those blue and white bubbled bags. Delayed my build by a week due to a damaged drive shipped in that bag.
Replacement was shipped in brown paper bag smh.

Yes I've used the Blue for both external enclosures and as secondary internal drives. My 4tb WD Blue inernal secondary drive has been going for 5 years 24/7. Very reliable drives.

yes, i have the WD 6TB smr drive. still runs fine for a basic long term storage drive. bought it used from Amazon with a few hours on the drive. get CMR drives if possible, but it fit my budget so gave it a try.

Agree. I'm not sure which is worse,shipped in the bubble bags or loose in boxes so they can bounce around in there. We have a Micro Center nearby and they price match to Amazon so I go there and buy right off the shelf.
