It depends on how you define casual gaming. 3050 will maybe handle low settings on some new games today, but in a few years, some of the newer games might be unplayable. Usually the XX60 type cards a good place to start, even for budget gamers

The fact that this has a Core Ultra CPU means it's this year's product. So why did they pair it with a last gen, slower, less efficient GPU from 2020? Why not 4050? Even no dGPU would've been a better option because Arc 8 is quite capable and doesn't draw as much power and would've allowed them to make it even lighter.

ARC is the iGPU and is present as well I think

4050 requires more cooling, more cooling requires more weight. No longer an LG Gram.

I have the 17 inch version with the RTX 2050 and can still play older games like Skyrim on max settings smoothly. The battery life is amazing and it's so lightweight. I can walk around the clinic all day with it.
