If you do not mind to return it a few years later at Costco, then the 2 years AppleCare+ is obsolete. I bought two pairs for $189 along with the AppleCare+. Just too good to pass on the unrestricted return days.
You are so ghetto for abusing Costco return policy. SMH

I have a question, I seem to find significanly lower price and advertised as brand new in facebook or offerup for those air pod product. I suspect some people may be selling non-genuine products, is it possible to ask the people to post me the serial number so I can validate it with Apple if I want to buy from them?

Fakes come with valid serial numbers now.

Basically if it's less than $100 it's fake.

If they have only this item ever listed or listed in multiple cities it's fake.

Learn how to spot fake packaging.

If they provide the serial number Google it. Chances are you'll find other listings with the same serial number proving they are fake.

If you have an apple store in your city ask if they will meet at the store to verify authenticity. That's what I put in my description and I sold them for $160 new which is a reasonable price. Not 120 or even $60.

Every seller I message asking if they will meet at the apple store ghosts or blocks me. There's an apple store right in the middle of my city and it's not a really big city.

Ironically 10x better would make them worth only $150 😎

Those are fakes. If the price seems to good to be true, then it is.

only a true scum bag would return items that touch your body like clothing or over the ear headphones

it takes a true breed of cheap to return headphones that have been jammed into your ear canal full of wax and drops of sweat when you browse Slickdeals and see an item for more than $20

YOU and many others are the reason Costco will eventually completely overhaul their returns. They could make the entire warehouse no return and people will still come bc there is no alternative that even comes close, Sam's is like a street fair in comparison.

Buy AppleCare+ like a normal human and IF you have issues then you make a claim not just file for free headphones or return them - that INCREASES the cost for everyone and dissuades how generously Apple replaces items esp high profit margin items like Airpods.

Nothing in the world is more embarrassing than people who abuse Costco return policy AND then brag about it like "yo im so cheap and SOOO proud of it everyone look hurry I am so FRUGAL by using a product for years and returning it"

Prayers up for you brother

Have the AirPods always come with 2 year AppleCare+? I bought a Pro set last year I think, and one of the buds only lasts an hour now. I was going to throw away as I wouldn't want to sell to someone with that short of battery life. Wondering if they are covered with AppleCare+? I don't remember anything mentioned when I purchased, but didn't pay attention either. So not sure how to prove I would have coverage.

He's saying the AppleCare+ is obsolete because he's abusing the Costco return policy.

I think they come with the standard Apple Warranty, which is 1 year, 90 day complimentary support, and doesn't cover anything but manufacturing defects.

AppleCare+ warranty covers battery health degrading, so that would have covered your issue.

I agree with much of what you wrote, but clothing? Do you never try it on at a store or buy and have to return if it doesn't fit?

It's a little different.

This is sticking an electronic in your ear canal full of wax and other bacteria.

But you are right trying on clothing at the mall or when it gets delivered at home is just as bad in the sense that it's not clean to wear against your body without a layer (example i know tons of girls who refuse to try bikinis without a thin liner underneath)

Costco grifters will always exist i just wish they extended their 90 day return limit to headphones so scum bags like the ones found in any ear bud thread would stop this stupidity

Imagine being this broke and this out of touch "har har har my Airpods battery isnt at full capacity i will return them at Costco because that's their policy har har har, better get that half eaten taco platter and return that as well the spices werent the best"
