The local Chinese food place blows panda out of the water in terms of taste, value, and pretty much everything else
Same with the $30 meal deal. Mine wanted $35. The T's&C's say the high is $34 in a specialty location.
Panda seems to be following in the path of Subway. Mediocre food and locations refusing promotions that made it an ok value. Now they just need to hire a mascot.

However I found a hack! I ordered on DoorDash for delivery, from one of the SoCal locations! The delivery fee was $550 (plus tip) so I'm not sure I came out in front, but I still feel like I've won!
