Don't order from amazon. The glue comes very thick, aged, old. I spent $80 for a project, needed a lot of this particular glue, and got glue that is almost unusable, so thick, it partially dried inside. Every freaking tube of it.

Order from your local hobby store, get new stock.

Look at me, I thought I am gonna save money but got UNUSABLE product that you CANNOT return. Ask me how much I saved.

I hope you read this and got your money back...

This item is non-returnable due to its composition that makes it regulated for transportation, but if the item arrives damaged or defective, you may request a refund or replacement.

It's a different kind of glue. More of a flexible bond, cures to a thick rubbery texture a lot thicker than krazy glue and firmer than silicone. Its a bit like Shoe Goo if you have used that. Useful for rubber, fabrics, that kind of thing. I patched a tiny tear in my puffer jacket that was leaking feathers the other day.

Is this the one that puffs up a bit and dries white?

How does this compare to JB Weld or Krazy glue?

To get a refund on any Amazon Direct/Prime product that is listed as "not returnable", get on Amazon Chat or Call Amazon directly. They will credit you. If you get on Amazon Chat, don't let their AI chat throw you through their automated response. It may send you in a wild goose chase that doesn't answer your question about a refund.

The reason they don't tell you anything further than non-refundable is because 85% of screwed buyers never try to find the hidden contact info for Amazon. They just accept being screwed over. I've been refunded every time after calling them on the phone.

Start here to contact Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/hz/contact...hubgateway

better than crazy glue?
Different. E6000 is not as strong as CA/Krazy glue, but E6000 is flexible and thus more durable for certain applications. Its also much better on porous surfaces than CA glue. I actually use e6000 as a far stronger replacement for hot glue. Though it doesnt dry nearly as fast - it will set up fine in a couple hours. CA is pretty brittle and therefore i find E6000 for things you use and move around. It flexes enough without breaking the bond.

oh, this glue isn't for items that need to bear some weight, like a broken lever or so. perhaps i need like a gorilla glue type of glue.

Had similar experience as well with Amazon and the e-6000.

The only time you don't have to worry about ordering from box stores, is if it's 2 part epoxy. That is usually a safe bet.

Great stuff! Was in Lowe's one time, and spotted some large (18 or 20 inch) ceramic pots on clearance, in the back of the gardening section. They had two good ones, but a third had a huge crack down the side. No way was it going to hold anything!
I remembered a buddy's wife does ceramics (she throws clay pots), so I texted her real quick, and asked her for her opinion. She told me, while you're there at Lowe's, pick up some E-6000 cement. Damned if it didn't work like a charm! Gouged out the crack where it didn't have much opening, and applied it on the outside. Waited 24 hours, and applied more from the inside. That pot is still in service today!

This is good stuff for fabric or other porous materials. I bought mine from Amazon and had no issues. Once you open it, to keep it from drying out, it's best to rub a little Vaseline in the threads of the cap and tube and then store the whole thing in a small ziplock bag. It'll keep for years that way.

Yeah, that shit is liquid gold. If it's going to get wet use their water weld.

Pro tip: when mixing any of their products use the snake technique like you did as a kid playing with playdough. Roll a snake in between your hands, then ball it back up. Repeat 4 or 5 times (or more) until it turns warm.

For long term storage I'd say what's even more important is to put it in the freezer. The colder the storage, the less the solvents evaporate.

Yeah, I bought some wood glue from Amazon a while back that was barely usable.
