in rural parts of China they call this a turtle car. The thrill is not from the speed but from the lack of shock absorbers . On a dirt —or poorly paved —road you spend half your time on the floor and the other half on the ceiling.

Boeing does 500 - 600 mph. It doesn't get exciting till the door blows off or it starts a dive. Indoor go-karts don't go very fast, but are exciting.

Been in dozens of tuk tuks in Bangkok and elsewhere. That's being a bit overdramatic in your recounting there 😂. Especially in Bangkok, they rarely get to drive in anything other than bumper to bumper traffic. The worst threat to your health will be car and scooter exhaust. Try riding on a motorcycle taxi at midnight. That's truly harrowing.

Dude, these tuk-tuks are hilarious but so space efficient when vehicles aren't permitted. Yes, you could just buy a side-by-side but what's the fun in those? This will sharpen my tuk-tuk skills. 😊
