You must really be panicking as an investor. This is the second ad um I mean thread you created to pump the model Y. Last one was what, -12? LOL and that one was $1K cheaper.
Keep up the good fight, and look for a greater fool

RWD is less capable, but if I go to remote places where AWD is desired, I won't be comfortable with an EV anyway. So the RWD seems a good idea. Less things to break and probably with a bit more range?

Personally I am stoked the Panasonic 2170 in my Q1 24' Fremont White RWD has ~80kwh capacity instead of 60kwh and I can charge up without much battery degradation. Down side is an AWD Austin LR Stealth Grey only costs $1,000 more.

The AWD also comes with floor mats!
And is 30% quicker from 0-60...which is nice although really not necessary.
And if you live in rainy weather, I'd always opt for any manufacturer's AWD. They just are much more stable in inclement weather.
Which is why my second car is a Subaru, even though I live in LA...during these rainy months, it was terrific especially up in the canyons where I live.
For the extra $3000, I just can't imagine not getting the AWD.
