20% off available if you haven't used it this quarter as well. Tempting but I have too many devices already.

How does this compare to Remarkable 2 (if at all - I'm not familiar)?

I'm hoping for a deal on the regular Paperwhite.
There was a great one posted here last year and I didn't take advantage of it thinking I'd see it again for Black Friday and have been kicking myself ever since.

Used KINDLE2024 code which said $15 off + $15 store credit but ended up giving me 15% off. Got the 32GB premium pen version

Lots of comparisons online and on YouTube, but if I had to summarize: Kindle Scribe has great hardware but the software has some catching up to do. Remarkable 2 tech is a bit older, but software is robust and well supported.

Kindle Scribe is perfect primarily for readers of Kindle ebooks that also want to be able to write on the tablet.

Remarkable is a writing focused device with some basic e-reading functionality.

For what I needed, I ended up going with the Remarkable 2. So far I love it. It's part of my daily workflow and I don't think it's just a fad device that will end up collecting dust on a shelf.

Depends on what you want to do. I tried both. Ultimate what got me to keep the Kindle was back light and also lack of the Kindle store. Though I did like writing on my books on the remarkable

Supernote is a great option as well and has a kindle store. Don't think they've introduced a backlight yet though.

Onyx Boox are also well loved for their flexibility as full Android tablets.

No backlight killed the remarkable for me. Can't write or read in anything but a very bright room.

While I loved the remarkable 2 it had a few deal breakers for me, mainly because I wanted the Backlight and Kindle store and a few other nitpicks

The Screen on the scribe is by far the best and on top of that the hand writing simply looks like your a pro BUT the Notes application is extremely sub par from functionality compared to others (But the price of the scribe is lower) I think what killed it for me with the Scribe is very poor integration to see your notes online...

I ended up getting the Onyx Boox Air 2 Plus which solves everything I wanted but it's not without fault

Search youtube there are tons of comparisons
