Wow that's a great price for one of the best gaming headsets on the market.

I've got one and have no complaints in music movies or gaming. Slightly better than the pc37x that I replaced but SIGNIFICANTLY better than my old hyperx clouds.

These give you real Sennheiser sound quality with a very good mic and comfortable build

Yea definately pick up a DAC, my motherboard (ASUS X570 TUF Pro) sounded like it was low-medium volume with everything at 100%. I eventually got a EPOS GSX 300, which was definately a big improvement but introduced a bunch of other problems like audio devices dissapearing, random crackling, their software crashing etc. Not sure what the best DAC for these would be but im sure someone here knows.

I am not sure why the deal is marked as expired. It (promo code) still works for me, on May 8, 2024. Just order it for $100.

This was going to be my next question... if I do pick these up... can I game with just the headphones or do I need to spend another 100$+ on an amp/dac which would kinda defeat the purpose... and at that point just stick to my a50s
From most websites and reviews using just the headphones is completely fine and what most of the reviews are based off of the headphones are 28ohm which means most high end motherboards or soundcards can handle it without help.

There is suggestion for dacs/amps to improve it further or for motherboards or devices not able to fully drive it. Schiits Hel seems to be mentioned a lot but I haven't used a dac/amp for headphones in almost a decade so can't confirm it's a good choice.

Thanks OP. already had one in all black that i got for a really good price from Amazon a while back but I like it so much I just ordered another.

I had never had open back headphones before (didn't even know they were a thing) but I really like them. The sound is really good and has a fullness to it that's more realistic than closed back headphones IMO. Plus, I can hear what's going on around me a lot better and my ears don't get sweaty, to boot.

Since these are wired it's a good idea to get the "combiner" from amazon so you don't have to constantly switch wires at the headphone. Wearing out that port on the left ear or the custom cable they come with could be a real disaster in the long run.
Can you place a link to the combiner?

There are a ton of them, here's one that seems to have a good price to rating ratio...
(~$6 - 4.6☆)

And here's a Sennheiser-branded one...
(~$15 - 4.6☆)

Hello, wondering if anybody has the same problem with split PC cable as me. Tried two different windows PCs, and tried usb to audio adaptor too, but mic would not work at all with this cable. The 1.2 meter console cable works perfectly.
