The only thing to consider is cooling, it runs HOT. I started off with an EVGA CLC 280, and even with doing some PBO tuning (undervolting) it was running pretty hot. I ended up upgrading to an Arctic Freezer II 360 and things are quiet and much cooler now, I think I max while gaming around 58c compared to 90s before.
While I will probably upgrade to one of the x3d chips someday just because I can, I'm very happy with how stable and cost effective this upgrade was.
I was skeptical of all the comments too, but I had zero issues and it was easier than when i built an am4 a couple years ago.
Also, did they drop the price more? I'm seeing $341, i paid $365 a week ago.
