Below was what I ended up with. And the checkout screen did show that my order was eligible for the $30 credit, which is said to be added to the account within 30 days of shipment. So before $30 credit and before tax, per unit cost is: $1.43/lb. Hope it helps!

What I found working is to check the coupon on the item page, add them as a regular purchase; then switch to S&S in shopping cart. If all goes well, all the discounts should apply.
