Components most changed/upgraded are RAM, SSD and GPU. All of them can be upgraded in this Dell. Comes with a 4090 and a 1000W PS. Why change power supply? 5600 DDR5 is bad? Just looking at a $2800 Lenovo Tower 7i with same CPU and they use DDR5 5200. Your unsureness on the cooling doesn't instill confidence you know what you're talking about.

This is a tired conversation. You want to build from scratch, feel free. You think there is better pre-builts, then LINK THEM to them if you truly want to help people.

It was meant to be. There are reports going back years on Reddit of days or short periods where it has been 15%. There is even an article posted on May 7th at travel-on-points.com talking about why it is so great when that particular cash back portal hits 10-15%.

Just realized they are advertising 15% cash back on 500+ stores on the homepage of their app. Definitely was not a mistake.

We got lucky with this price mistake on the same day as a 15% cash back offer. The stars were aligned on this one. The People beat Michael Dell at his own game. Not quite a legendary deal but honestly this is not far off. It has to be the best i9 + 4090 prebuilt price, dare I say ever?

Last night Dell showed I should get my system around the 23rd, this morning I got a shipment notification.

Still locked out of the cash back site and they aren't answering support e-mails.

I think it is pretty legendary tbh. After all cashback, credit card rewards, and other stuff my final out of pocket will be for less than a system with an i7/newer 4070 variant.

Literally paid less for this in the end than for just a 4090.

Pretty dang slick...

This exactly. A coworker is peeved at me for not letting him know about this lol.

Even if you don't like the Alienware, you could buy another MB (assuming you have a case,etc already) and still be way under what this would cost.
