No knobs nor buttons to select and or navigate. Bummer.

Does any aftermarket radio designed to integrate with Android Auto/Apple Carplay allow you to use buttons and knobs to navigate?

I've been using this receiver for 2 years now. Bought an open-box one at BestBuy. I love absolutely everything about it. I especially enjoy listening to HD .flac and DSD audio files on it. The nice bonus was that upon plugging into my Ford vehicle equipped with the SONY/SYNC 2 the receiver started showing tyre pressure, the speedo and the revs. It also allows you to control your HVAC from its touch-screen display. The only receiver I would swap it for would be the similar top-of-the-line Pioneer equipped with a "floating" display (the 2DIN display seems a bit too small now that we are in 2024).

When I added it to my cart, install was quoted for $104.96, but that was all the parts needed to install. The "Advanced In-Dash Navigation or In-Dash Video Installation" was also quoted for $129.99 but marked down to "Free" (A $129.99 value). I believe this is select Best Buy locations though.

Thanks for the comments, they also do have the open box versions available from $349.99 - $429.99.

Thanks for the heads up ... the install did come off in the cart but added in the interface & other parts to end up being around $700+Tx for me locally ... good deal in case you;re in the market but not truly a "Slickdeal"

Where would you ever get a truly free install including required accessory components? Even DIY with Crutchfield's discounts, you're still paying for several extra components along the way for most vehicles.

I've had this for a few years now and it's been great! The original firmware was a bit buggy but a firmware update made it to great. Make sure to upgrade firmware if you buy one. My only complaint is that updating firmware is usually a bit PITA but it's always worked eventually. I've only had to do that a few times
