$800 for a samsung is absurd. My iPhone 12 mini is still going strong after 4 years of use. Still getting updates as well.
S24 series is scheduled to receive 7 years of OS / security updates. Google (Pixel) and Samsung made a lot of progress over the last several years in terms of expanding supportability of their devices.
I had no idea, I just assumed it would be just as good or better than S10 at least. Wife said sometimes her s10 screen won't respond or let her scroll, but I assumed it's a software issue.
People say that about pretty much every phone. I currently use S22+, which I have had for two years, and the battery life is fine. Snapdragon 8 gen 1 is not regarded as the most efficient chip, but my phone can last me through the day.
I have s22U and battery life is crappy even with brinjal resolution and with batter saver. Screen and especially camera drains battervery fast. So on vacation you have be careful with videos and pictures.

The s22 series was especially bad. I upgraded from the s21 to s22 and it was a slap in the face. No way the s22 makes it a day. I went to pixel and while battery life was better good luck getting a signal. I dumped my pixel a have a s24u and let me tell you I will have this phone for years. So I would say if you are digging back the s21 or s21fe are preferred to the s22 line IMHO.
I just got an S20 Unlocked on Amazon for $180. I am done chasing the latest phones when the older models do the same things. So glad to be out of that phase.
I kind a agree but it gets tricky when it doesn't allow to update ur apps specially bank apps

Last week ordered S24+ at SAMS TMobile for $1000 less $600 & $200 tradein S21 5g Verizon phone. Arrived yesterday. Gonna call TM and see what they say about Amazon price
never pay retail for Samsung Phones, they aren't iPhones.
Agree. Bought an S22+ and the following month a Samsung update made it so I could not make or receive calls until the next update. I suffered through for 18 months with sporadic text messages failing, the phone randomly switching the default data sim to the sim I did not want and turning off WiFi calling on me so I missed calls. The dual sim "feature" was terrible and people are still complaining of the newer Samsung phones about such issues. Their Bixby would not work for location triggers when I left home, but my new iPhone Bixby equivalent works flawlessly and I have none of these Samsung poor quality problems. I always had good luck with Android phones, but not with any Samsung phones. For dual SIM, I converted to iPhone, because they have better quality control and require cell service companies to make sure they are compatible before letting them sell iPhones. No more Samsungs for me! Never! Done!
