Using one of these in lieu of a bicycle with training wheels will make transitioning to a pedal bike much easier!

Is the sport version much better than the classic?

From what I understand between the Classic vs Sport is that the Sport version has an extended seat height range, a mini grip handlebar (narrower grips for smaller hands), and a padded seat.

At full MSRP between Classic ($110) vs Sport ($130), the Sport would be a no brainer for $20 more. But at this sale price, the Classic is a much better deal IMO. You can buy a replacement padded seat (with that extended seat height range) directly from Strider for $20.

We actually were looking at Guardian bikes because of the handbrakes and air tires, but our LO might actually be too small for it, which is why we took a look at the Strider which seems a better fit. Plus for the time being the foam tires means less maintenance. We pulled the trigger and got this. Thanks OP!
