I bought one so it must be good. Also rated on third party site as a top tier PSU. On paper this PSU should be able to drive an RTX4090 and then some other stuff you can throw in your PC. There is an ongoing myth that the more RGB you have the faster your PC can go and so you can never have enough RGB.
Also, YYMV if your RTX4090 will burn out with this PSU. But that is mainly on the RTX4090 design issue and less probability is the cause of this PSU.
This is a few dollars more then 1200Watt version. So, at 38% off MSRP... only thing need to worry about is how many RTX4090 can it drive at the same time. Probably still 1.
And if runs out BH PHOTO has it for the same price. But who are we kidding here... so much easier to return if there is problem. Just drop it off a local amazon fresh and buy a pizza at the same time.'
You can also try price matching at a local best buy or microcenter. But its 2024 is driving to a local store still a thing?
Overall 10/10 on price. Looking forward to running a A770, RTX3060 and a RTX2070 on the same machine. Hopefully it won't catch fire and burn down the house.

Also how did the other post went front page 4 months ago? Did thermaltake stop doing warrant in the past 4 month?
Stick to what's relevant for the deal in the post, save the anecdotes for the comments.
Make sure you have the breaker capacity to split the load. Otherwise, add the cost of running a 20A breaker to this.

Though it's also noted as noisy so I am going to have to check that out.
