You know i looked it up and oddly enough not seeing the constant "get a month free of paramount on us" offers we used to see all the time but it could be I'm not doing a proper google search for said offers .. if someone knows otherwise please post the codes so people can try it free for a month and decide for themselves

One heads up I'd like to mention.. Paramount absolutely positively will not give a refund under any circumstances, their customer service dept told me that much even if they goof up and offer you a free month when you're about to cancel your subscription .. the paramount website said " we'll give you a frere month if you don't go ! " , emailed their customer service department AND phoned them too (I know I know too much spare time on my hands ) to make sure and the response was "yes" all around... only to find myself billed for the "free" month anyways and the reps basically shrugging their shoulders and saying " Nothing we can do".. it turns out that "don't go we'll give you a month free" offer works once and only once even if .. discouragingly enough.. the Paramount webiste and customer service departments say otherwise.. how they managed to goof that up I have no idea.

In my case since I had a pdf of the email from their customer service dept saying " Yep, free month for you" I submitted it to my credit card company, disputed the charge and got a refund (Paramount probably decided it wasn't worth their time to argue with my credit card company about it) so it might be worth submitting an " Hey is it really going to be this price?" type email to their customer service dept just to get it in writing in case you need that later on.

I wouldn't let that necessarily stop you either though iff they're offering a free month , there's a lot of good stuff on there you can binge.. Star Trek Picard, Star Trek Discovery, the South Park movies and renewed Beavis and Butthead for example off the top of my head. otherwise if you go for this deal I'm sure there are a lot of other great shows I don't know about too and when you consider Showtime being thrown in there for $60 a year not a bad deal in my opinion. I enjoyed The Tudors, Yellowjackets, Penny Dreadful in particular, Californiacation , didn't have a chance to watch Dexter but heard it's very good, all on Showtime.

Paramount+ might not even exist in the next few months because they are being sold
Sold to who? Last news I saw. They aren't selling to anyone.

Has anyone recently received an email from Mint Mobile giving a free 6-month Paramount+ Essential subscription to subscribers?

I got that email from Mint Mobile and I turned my Paramount+ back on because of it.

Now I'm trying to figure out if it's worth upgrading to this 1 year deal so I can stream in 4K/HDR/Dolby Vision. I don't think I get any "credit" for the Mint Mobile 6-mo subscription.

Thanks for the post but free is still better. Ain't no one should be paying for this streaming service until they patch the free trial loophole.
Free doesn't stream in Dolby Atmos so it's not better, it's just less expensive.

I looked for the AMEX $11.99 off others mentioned and didn't see it
BUT
I did have 50% off Walmart+ that includes Paramount+ for total of $49
No idea if the Walmart+ is even worth having but get both for $10 less

I've actually had a good experience with their customer service. I'll acknowledge that it is frustrating that minimum wage service reps don't dig in to the fine print and assume that someone is asking to cancel is really just trying to cancel rather than repeat a free loophole. I think it's important that a company stops people from abusing a good faith practice that gives them their product for free so that they can continue offering it and growing it for paying customers.

As slick-dealers, this may be an unpopular opinion, but to keep getting good deals, I think our community should definitely try to stack the deals and find awesome combos, like the OP, but trying to scam systems repeatedly on technicality is not going to keep companies making deals as they cut back their offerings to make up the difference of lost revenue.

Me too, but that code no longer works and P+ hasn't to this point had any newer working codes based on Doctor of Credit. You can sign up for successive 1 week free trials with a new email address each time (thus far, P+ hasn't closed that loop hole—and you can use gmail addresses by entering + and any character before @gmail.com and it will take it as a new address but you'll get the email at your gmail.com mailbox).

The successive weekly free trials are a bit of a pain. I do binge a lot of content on P+ but can live without it (planning to use the Amex monthly credit for the time being) when I cannot get it for free.
