Negative, I've bought and picked up like 10+ Pixel phones at google stores with trade-in the past few years and they've always sent me a seperate box that I need to ship out for the trade-in.

If you happen to live near a physical Google Store, you can do the trade-in instantly in person so no delays or risks. NYC, Boston, and Mountain View.

Thanks! I'll drop by the Mountain View Store to pick up the tablet and if they refuse to do the trade-in, I'll just won't accept the tablet. Fingers crossed!

The deal would be bad if trade-in problems are there on top of a below average product.
This conversation started from Google selling the dock for +$100. Other than the dock the tablet is not that good. When you add up the trade-in issues, it become worse for people who do not value android over others.

Watching reviews of this on YouTube is giving me severe buyer's remorse, and I had old iPads sitting in a drawer that work for this deal. I originally did it to replace a Nest Hub Max, but reviews say it isn't even good at doing that. They say the tablet itself isn't even a very good tablet. It's like a jack of all trades, master of none, mid at everything. And with this deal the market is about to get flooded with them, will be lucky to make any real money off of these. Might just refuse delivery and call it a day.

Review is at $500 price point. Would be a lot different at $200 or $100 without dock.

If you're talking about an older non-pro iPad, this tablet will still end up being a lot more useful than what you're trading in. I'm in the Apple eco-system and just want an Android device I can tinker with. My iPad 6th gen can barely load at times.

This seems like another scenario similar to when google offered higher trade in values to sell pixel 6a. Market got flooded with 6a's and at the end of the day pixel 6a lost its market/trade in value. Literally became a $100 phone in few months for trade in.

There's a reason they are fire sale'ing this. It's just not very good and Google wants your data more than they want to produce good products. I have A LOT of problems with Apple, but their stuff in general is designed nicely.
