Edit: I've personally traded in several devices (phones and watch) in Mountain View. In all instances they physically took the device and gave me credit instantly. I can't personally vouch for the other stores.

My Ipad 6th gen IS in mint condition and if they only give me $75 for it I WILL be on the phone with the Google Store customer service for sure! At the very least, I'll be returning the Pixel tablet I ordered.

Hopefully they bring it back, maybe there's a new tablet announced with the upcoming google i/o and they offer the deal again.
