This has to be one of the top 10 strangest products I've ever seen. How many naked light bulb sockets are in people's homes - sockets that don't also have covers for the light itself? And if you don't, are you going to remove the cover and have a big ugly light-bulb-looking camera where a light usually would be? I want to see an example of this used in the real world, this is wild stuff.

I can see it working for outdoors, and I see the only examples they give are of the outdoors... I suppose that's fine. But I can't see the indoor application of it despite them claiming that it's indoor/outdoor.

I do use them mostly outdoors, but also installed one in the attic to try to alert me of any pesky birds that might somehow get inside (has happened before, now I wanna catch the lil buggers!). Haven't tried it, but in reviews on amazon have seen people use them on lamps or on some kind of a flexible cable as a cheap baby monitor.
