bad experience with EPOMAKER/ SKYLOONG, usb broken, long conversation with support and no replacement under waqrranty replace, glitching keys, need reset all the time, it's just Chinese garbage, avoid it.
Better to buy cheapest model Keychron, it's much better by quality and functions and QMK/VIA, just $27.47 today!

Gateron Yellow switches is a well loved linear switch as well so I agree this is a great deal on a 75%.

There's also another variation on sale: EPOMAKER TH80 Pro with Epomaker Flamingo Switch for $45 if you prefer that colorway. Looks like the Flamingo switches are similar linear switches with a slightly lower actuation force (47g vs 50g).

I was really tempted to get it until I saw the north facing LEDs, which MIGHT interfere with some keycaps. If you don't plan on customizing/changing keycaps, then this is completely a non-issue. Personally, I'm not a fan of the purple aesthetic, so I would change the keycaps if I got this, which means the north facing LEDs is a bit of hurdle for me. Still an excellent deal on a 75% board with some nice features.

Yellow switches are a little too stiff for my tastes, especially for gaming. To the point that it will affect your response times. What you really want is the red switch.

Thank you, my Anne pro 2 just died and I needed another wireless to have on hand. Haven't had a yellow switch yet. Usually brown or red, so I'm excited to try something new.

Can I ask how your Anne Pro 2 died? My friend has the same keyboard and it had keys that were double pressing or not pressing at all when expected. Just curious what your failure was. I have been in this hobby since 2009 and I haven't experienced a mech switch fail so quickly. I replaced a couple switches for him but it ended up happening to other parts of the board as well. Very odd behavior.

My kid spilled a soda on it. Then hid it and told me a few hours later. So "died" should have been murdered.

I still have it, when I get time I'll see if I can get it up and running again. 🤞

Bluetooth is the key though. I have two Keychrons and love them. But neither one is wireless. K1 is by far my favorite keyboard ever, it has such a low profile and brown switches.

Picked up the Keycron last week at a liquidation store in town for $8. A little schmutz on the keyboard but the cable, key puller and extra keys hadn't been used or opened. Seems like a solid compact mechanical keyboard for the price.

Reminder friends don't let friends buy epomaker.

Banned from Reddit. Poor quality rebrands with even poorer support. Search don't buy epomaker.

Apparently not too bad of a pick for 89 according to this video but the switches are different. Seems like an easy choice at 45. https://youtu.be/E-gx-X1Ifvo?si=oZ43L4u6SwDUb_v3

Bought this for my wife a few months ago. She really loves it. Feels like a solid keyboard. The software is meh at best though.

Bought this in 2022 because it was the cheapest option I could find with a volume knob. I'm really happy with it but the battery reading is faulty. I use it wired the vast majority of the time and windows always reads the battery as 1%. It still works when connected to a steam deck via bluetooth so I know there's a charge. Other than that I love it and don't see myself upgrading.
