I now own four pairs of these between the chinos and jeans. The extreme stretch and comfort is worth the shorter lifespan for me (versus non-stretch denim)

Also an owner of 4 pairs. These are really soft and comfortable, and are perfect for going to work everyday at the office (usually paired with a short sleeve polo.)

What are these like? They don't seem like jeans... are the like chinos or closer to dress slacks?

I have the jeans, love 'em. Wish they'd go on sale again, need to buy a few more pairs.

Bought 3 colors last sale super comfortable they do have stretchy elastic waist. More like chinos. Wear at office and home. Only thing I'll knock is the threads /stitching comes loose in different areas but not deal breaker. I'll just snip with scissors when I notice it. I'd buy again.

I have a pair of the lee flat front slim straight pants in 34/32 and love them. They also have some stretch .

I bought a pair of "extreme motion" slim flat front and they were too tight (34/32).
I'm 6'1" 215 if that helps.
