I just joined two led light sets that way last night. Note that the bulb brightness may decline and that it may have an odd effect where each LED will get progressively dimmer as it gets further from the power source.
Additionally, the text description says "adds light to any room", so I'm wondering if these are really outdoor grade or if the marketing department just started to embellish.
